Windsock - New windsocks detect wind below 1 mile per hour, and safety compliant.A 3 MPH wind means a toxic gas can travel 264 feet in 1 minute!* Ordinary windsocks cannot detect low wind movement, only the Wind Tracker Windsock System can. *Courtesy University of Exter

Tracking low wind speed

A New Safety Windsock System

Detect winds below 1 mile per hour!

Windsock evacuation system.

Low Wind Speed Is Dangerous!

Gas dispersion in low wind speed conditions, and the distances affected by hazardous gases — are usually greater for low wind speeds. Only the Wind Tracker Windsock System can detect wind movement below 1 mile per hour!

Air movements are important in determining how far hazardous material will be carried, and at what direction. Wind direction and turbulence is effected by wind speed. Windsocks that are tubular in design will not afford the protection you need.

Direction changes as the wind encounters buildings, landscaping, vehicles, etc. it's course is altered to some decree. The degree of wind direction change is directly related to the force of the wind when it encounters the obstruction.

See the wind. It is critical that you have as part of your Emergency Action Plan a windsock that will show you movement and turbulence at any wind speed. Only the Wind Tracker Windsock System animates the wind even below 1 MPH.

The new design does not allow wind to pass through an opening like ordinary windsocks. Our Wind Tracker creates an obstacle and the wind must try to pass. It does this by moving the Tracker "out of the way". This action causes the lift of the flag/sock, and our patented harness does the rest. It moves, and keeps the Tracker in the direction of the wind, and presents a continues obstacle. So no matter what direction, what speed or however many times the wind changes direction it is always visible.
