Wheel Stand 24 Pro Place the stand under any vehicle tire and your set to go. The 24" steel base plate keeps the pole a safe distance from the car, trailer or truck. All other tire stands are only 14" and leave little room between the car and the pole. The Wheel Stand Pro riser is marked for safety and has a sleeve to eliminate any break points commonly found on other tire stands. | Details: This unit is designed to meet both portable and permanent situations. The rugged construction of the pole and flag system and ease of use make it ideal for rapid deployment in the field or at home base. The rigors of transport will not damage this unit. Hazmat teams, jump teams, balloonist, oil field and refinery situations are just a few of the applications where this wind system fits in. Visibility is a minimum of 1/4 mile, and the contrasting colors of the flag alert area personnel as to the direction and speed of the wind. Windsocks cannot perform satisfactorily and are truly obsolete for low wind detection where gases or harmful particles can injure persons or property. Because the patented pivotal harness moves in six directions and has no mechanical parts to artificially aid in movement the true wind sped an direction are made visible. There is no tube shape like socks which fails to use the full wind movement. The sock design must first move air through the large opening and out the smaller end. A low wind, often up to 6-8 m.p.h. will not fill the sock and barely moves the windsock. Once there is a sufficient amount of wind force to get the windsock moving a cross wind has to fight that volume of air in the sock, and the visible direction of the wind to the observer can be delayed or seen as less than accurate. The pivotal harness & flag come assembled. As air currents move along the flag it rises & falls with side-to-side movement as the wind changes directions. When the flag attempts to "dive off", it is pulled back into the winds force by the harness cords. This patented harness and its ability to keep the flag in position allows it to animate the wind at any speed, and at all times. |
